Continuing with our constant commitment to the well-being of the Malaga community and our mission to improve the quality of life of the most vulnerable people, we once again support charitable causes such as Bancosol to continue helping those who are going through difficult situations.
This time, from Larios Centro we made a significant donation of 3,600 liters of milk, an essential and more urgent product at this time, as stated by Bancosol, the non-profit entity in Malaga dedicated to helping people at risk. of social exclusion. This donation is intended entirely for children.
The delivery of this donation took place on Wednesday, June 12 at 10:30 a.m. in the Plaza de la Solidaridad in Larios Centro. Present at the event were Francisco Manuel Cantos, Councilor for the Area of Social Rights, Diversity, Equality and Accessibility of the Malaga City Council, Diego Vázquez, president of Bancosol, and José López-Guerra, manager of Larios Centro.
Bancosol supports 137 social entities, providing assistance to 34,000 people in Malaga capital and province, of which 10,000 are children. According to Diego Vázquez, president of Bancosol, “We are enormously grateful for this action by Larios Centro. We have started the year 2024 with a reduction of 2,000,000 kg of food due to the disappearance of the FEAD Plan. Until now we have been able to distribute 1,500. 000 kg of food, is thanks to the solidarity of civil society and significant donations like today. Milk is the most requested food by the beneficiaries of our food plans.”
