At Larios Shopping Centre we believe in commitment to our environment and in the power of small actions to generate a big impact.
Therefore, as part of our solidarity initiatives, we have made a donation of €1,000 to the AVOI Foundation (Association of Volunteers for Childhood Oncology), an organization in Malaga that carries out essential work with children hospitalized with cancer.
A solidarity initiative with real impact
The donation is part of “The Magic of Christmas”, a participatory action that was organized during the Christmas season and in which the shopping center’s customers could support different social causes in the city.
Thanks to the involvement of our visitors, AVOI was the entity selected from a total of 15 local associations that also carry out important social work in Malaga.
Among the participating organizations were Ángeles Malagueños de la Noche, Asilo de las Hermanitas de los Pobres, Comedor Social Yo Soy Tú, Animación Malacitana and Fundación Altamar, among other entities that work daily to improve the quality of life of vulnerable groups in the province.
The work of AVOI Malaga
AVOI provides comprehensive support to children hospitalized with cancer, offering emotional support and developing activities that help them face the process with greater strength and optimism. Their work not only directly impacts the young patients but also their families, providing a more humane and supportive environment during particularly difficult times.
With this financial contribution, we help the foundation to continue developing its activities and expanding its social impact.
